I first discovered OOUX through an article on A List Apart, and with a bit more research online that led me to Rewired where I caught Sophia's YouTube and Spotify podcast channels. I took the OOUX Fundamentals on Udemy prior to starting this certification program. Actually I was kinda stunned by the "Is OOUX right for you?" quiz result. Out of everyone who took the quiz so far, I was one of TWO with a score of PERFECT alignment! With that added assurance and confidence boost, I decided to take up this program to hone my skills in object-oriented user experience design to equip myself with an in-depth understanding of how to approach complex system designs. This is a rare masterclass that I genuinely feel that I have learnt something through the engagements with the mentors, Sophia, and my fellow Cohort 10 members, where I could benefit from it by applying to UX Design in the future. Complex system designs has never been easy, and I am glad to have found the OOUX program with Sophia where I could relate to the various terminologies used within the product team, especially with the Developers going forward. And I must say, I truly enjoyed the learning process through the unlimited masterclass modules playback. Overall, the struggles and time spent to comprehend OOUX and ORCA concepts are worthwhile! And I really have a long way to practice and learn to confidently get the hang of applying this methodology on the fly at my fingertips!
